Jules Z. Halpern is of counsel to the Firm and provides counseling to employers in varied industries on employee relations, human resources policies and workplace compliance. Mr. Halpern audits employment practices and prepares Employee Handbooks, employment and separation agreements, and various other employment related documents and policies. Mr. Halpern also defends administrative charges and negotiates with government agencies, investigates allegations of employee misconduct, and delivers anti-discrimination, business ethics and human resources-related training. Before private legal practice, Mr. Halpern was Senior Director of Employee Relations and employment law counsel at Random House, Inc. and the senior employment attorney at The Home Insurance Company and its affiliated companies. Mr. Halpern speaks on a variety of workplace law topics both locally and nationally.
