On October 9, 2018, Peter Goodman spoke as a panelist at the New York Staffing Association’s Law Day. Addressing members of the staffing industry, the panel reviewed New York State and New York City legislation that requires employers to provide employees with annual sexual harassment prevention training. The panel also covered issues such as how to prepare for compliance with the new laws, how to train internal and temporary employees, how to handle sexual harassment complaints (both internal and external), and how to avoid retaliation and third-party harassment.
